A: Because. Shows aren't always aired in order they're meant to be seen. They're aired when they are, and in what order, due to certain factors, namely the network airing the show's whims. They can sometimes shuffle eps up considerably, creating errors in continuity. I try my best NOT to list the shows in any order which contradicts story flow, while staying true to production order. Let's put it this way: I present facts. The facts are the titles, the air dates (though some of season 1's are debatable due to lack of credible sources), and the network show numbers. The order is up to the person who reads this, downloads it, and keeps it for themselves. None else is always for certain. Q: Why... A: Videos, Movies, and Specials don't count towards the series total number. Ignoring the fact they don't always occur within the show's continuity, most are made by people other than those who work on the program. An even BIGGER factor? Hardly none of them air AS an episode of the show. The only real thing on this list that isn't considered an episode that probably should be is the Turbo Movie. But, still, it's not aired chopped up into episode format yet, and probably never will, so it still gets "outside" treatment in terms of a guide. Q: But... A: "I'm Dreaming Of A White Ranger" was released on video just a few weeks before it aired on Fox Kids. It contained footage of Kat, who knew who the Rangers were and were friends with them despite Kim still being Pink Ranger, that NEVER aired on the aired version of the episode. Nor has that footage been made available in all subsequent video releases of that ep. It's been more or less buried and shoved out of continuity, but if you do view it as canon, the ep probably takes place within "A Different Shade of Pink 3". Not an easy thing to note on this guide! Q: ....??!!! A: "It Came From Angel Grove" and "A Season To Remember" were filmed with video releases in mind. They might've been released on tape before they aired, but nobody quite recalls. I currently list them in the list where they were produced (though I moved "Season" up from its prod place of right before "Oily" to after "Do I?", for continuity sake). Note, they do NOT take place where the Network Show Numbers list them as. Q: LET ME TALK!! A: "The Legend Of The Clock Tower" is the cause of much debate. It was filmed where the Network Show Number places it. But was aired much later due to its nature of being a self-contained ep. It's placed just aside its production placement, due to the fact "Jen's Revenge" shows the containment freezer, and the mutant captured in "tower" isn't shown within it. Q: That's it. I want a divorce. A: I list titles with such odd capitalizing, to reflect the fact that just about every PR title is shown onscreen in all capital letters. That would appear awkward on this list, so caps-ing stuff like "The" and "Of" within the title gets the fact it's uppercase across well. All titles match onscreen spelling to the Nth degree. __________________ WRITERS LIST: [Names are now in alphabetical order by last name. Fox Kids Numbers are used for the episodes worked on.
