You remember how Rocky replaced Jason as Red Ranger back in season 2? Well, turnabout seems to be fair play, as Rocky now discovers none of his teammates have time for him with Jason back around. So, when King Mondo comes to Earth, and digs up the Damacles Sword, a mega powerful weapon he buried near Angel Grove eons hence, Blue Zeo Ranger takes him on solo. This proves to be a bad move, gaining him attention from his pals, but negatively. Everything works out, though. The Super Zeo Megazord is finally formed, and it doesn't just destroy the Damacles Sword, but manages to slice the giant-sized King Mondo in half! Queen Machina informs Sprocket that the King will be rebuilt, but it'll be a little while. Later, the Power Teens mend fences with Rocky, who finally sees the Jason isn't trying to take his place.

B-Plot of this episode: Bulk & Skull take a detective case for the Burbling Burble Baby Food company. They want to find the original Burbling Burble Baby from their logo. B&S think it's Jason. But it turns out to be Ernie. Yeah, I get those two confused a lot, too.

And as for Rito & Goldar? They finish teleporting up to the moon, where they find themselves, not at the Lunar Palace they lived at for so long, but faced with a tricked-out Winnebago. Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and Finster are within it, using it as a "stealth base" with which they plan to defeat the Machine Empire and take back their place as official potential rulers of the Earth.
