Darkonda & Ecliptor turn to see the Rangers flipping over the camera, landing atop a rock formation nearby, to which Ecliptor speaks.

Red talks with his hand held like a gun.

Trims start to remove close-up on hand.

Each of the Rangers' Lightstar helmets light up, as they reach forth in a group pose.

Ecliptor looks over to Darkonda, who nods. Ecliptor charges into battle, locking blades with Red's Spiral Saber, as he and the Ranger exchange quick remarks up close.

Darkonda suddenly slashes Ecliptor in the back, before extending an umbilicus from his left gauntlet, which connects to Ecliptor's back, frying him with yellow electricity, while Red dives out of the way and regroups with his team to watch this.

Ecliptor falls to one knee, as Darkonda remains holding the cord to his back, both talking to each other, until Darkonda turns to yellow energy and whips himself into Ecliptor's body, spark bursting him.

The Rangers react as Darkonda & Ecliptor visibly merge with one another, forming a new being in a crackle of electricity and sparks.

The Rangers watch as Darkliptor merges from the smoke, armed with both swords.

Push in on Darkliptor, talking. Red steps forth from the Rangers, talking unimpressed until he poses battle ready, prompting the monster to do the same.

Start is trimmed to remove Japanese text onscreen.

The Rangers fire their Astro Blasters at Darkliptor, but the bolts bounce off him and explode. He responds by crossing his swords and firing a blue stream of energy that shoots at the Rangers, all but the girls diving out of the way. Yellow & Pink are frozen in blocks of green-lined glass.

The other three Rangers react to the girls being frozen, Darkliptor laughs, causing Red to become agitated, Blue holding him back for a moment until he pushes him away and rushes forth toward the monster. Darkliptor waits until he gets close enough and he sparkily slashes Red until he falls down.

Darkliptor is about to sword slash the downed Red, when Blue leaps in and takes the sparkily blow for him. Darkliptor then raises both swords and slashes them downward at us.

Both swords against his helmet causes Blue to crackle with electricity and flash.

Start is trimmed to remove actual impacting of swords.

Red watches in horror as Blue collapses, his helmet spark bursting.

Red gets up and cradles Blue's unconscious body in his arms.

Darkliptor approaches, when Black suddenly tackles him, knocking Darkonda away for a moment. Black calls out to his friends before getting struck by the freeze ray. He gets to say a lot to Red before finally becoming encased in glass.

Three of his teammates frozen and another injured, Red summons his Galaxy Glider, carries Blue's body on his shoulders, and escapes, leaving Darkliptor behind to talk to himself.

Astro Megaship slowly drifts forth above a planet, as a red streak of energy shoots into it.

The three Rangers on ice are now stored in a cave, where Darkliptor talks to them.

Red Space Ranger spins around, text & displays appear, including "MORPHING COMPLETE".

With the three iced Rangers in the background, Darkliptor hangs out in a field, until Red arrives. They exchange dialogue, then pose at each other.

Red jumps up, presses 01 on the Battlizer, and does a charged-fist flying punch at Darkliptor, who avoids being hit by jabbing him sparkily with his sword until he falls.

As Red crouches defensively, Darkliptor slowly approaches him.

Red attacks Darkliptor with his Spiral Saber, but is unable to ever land a blow.

Darkliptor releases Red, then sparkily strikes him a few times until he falls.

Blue Space Ranger spins around, text & displays appear, including "MORPHING COMPLETE".

Blue finds himself perplexed by his morphed form.

Red gets pinned on the ground by Darkliptor, who soon spots Blue nearby, turning his attention that way.

Final shot is split.

Darkliptor readies his swords and leaps up in the air.

Both shots split.

Darkliptor finishes leaping, narrowly missing slashing Blue, who ducks and dodges, only to get grabbed and tossed aside, where he freaks out at the sight of the approaching monster.

Darkliptor rushes over and sparkily slashes Blue a few times until he falls.

Darkliptor points his sword at the downed Blue, before unleashing green electricity toward him, which is blocked by Red, leaping in and taking the brunt of the blast.

Blue barely bumps his helmeted noggin on a big rock.

Cuts before he clutches his head.

Red falls into the bushes, before talking to the head-clasping Blue, giving him a thumbs-up.

Blue releases his head, then begins to remember things, causing him to clutch his noggin some more.

Freeze frames to allow flashback montage to play.

Blue seems to remember, his Lightstar helmet lighting up, as he clenchs his fist and rises up.

Blue sees Red about to be attacked by Darkliptor, so he jumps up and flying kicks the monster away.

Blue helps Red up, they exchange dialogue, then rush off together, all buddy-buddy.

Two additional shots between shots 2 & 3 are cut.

The two Rangers rush up to face Darkliptor, Blue holding both his Astro Axe & the Spiral Saber, he and Red posing briefly, while Darkliptor prepares for action.

Cuts follow-up of Rangers beginning to run.

Blue runs ahead of Red, tossing both Weapons in the air, distracting Darkliptor, who gets sparkily shot by Blue's Astro Blaster.

Bolts added to final shot.

Darkliptor drops both swords, so Blue turns around and gives Red a boost into the air, jumping up and grabbing both the Astro Axe & Spiral Saber, and uses them both at once to slash down upon Darkliptor.

Darkliptor turns around, crackling with electricity, before glowing and splitting into both Ecliptor & Darkonda again, both then collapsing.

End of sequence is altered to fit Dark Fortress monitor.

Black, Yellow, & Pink are freed from their glass cages.

Darkonda gets up, smoking, but Ecliptor remains lying on the ground. Darkonda then talks angrily at Red & Blue, who respond.

Darkonda rushes over and drags Ecliptor up to his feet.

Dark Fortress fires Satellasers at the planet beside it.

Darkonda gets behind Ecliptor and fuses with him in a flash of gold, as the Satellasers rain down, causing Darkliptor to grow gigantically.

Blue & Red react, then dive out of the way as Darkliptor stomps down upon them. They regroup with their teammates, Blue talking to Yellow, then Black. Red speaks, then while Blue summons, Red calls into his Battlizer.

Both Megaships transform into their component parts.

Touching his console top, Blue turns and nod-talks to our left, pan over to Red, crossing arms and punching forth, before grabbing controls.

Now in a green-grid dimension, Astro Delta Megazord then releases fists from its body, they fly forth and across the dimension.

Darkliptor unmerges, Darkonda roughly holding the dazed Ecliptor forth.

The pair of flying fists swoop down at us.

Darkonda hides behind Ecliptor, as the flying fists smash into him, causing a massive explosion.

Astro Delta Megazord's fist locks back onto its arm.

Astro Delta Megazord stands victorious in the smoke.

Darkonda & Ecliptor teleport to normal-sized safety, though the latter writhes and smokes until he collapses.

Darkonda talks to the sky, then turns to Ecliptor, writhing on the ground, and talks at him, before both teleport away.
