At night beside a building complex, a truck/van drives on the road, with a car following behind.

I checked every possible source for this, and it apparently is original and not any form of Japanese footage. But maybe I missed it?

Renegade leads Chrome Dome and Hornbot, all holding torches in the forest at night, down a path to Metalbot, talking to him. Metalbot responds, then gestures, they nod, then take off.

Sharp zoom in on a stuffed owl, which actually is what it seems.

All standing around looking alert, Metalbot speaks and then Renegade, Chrome Dome, and Hornbot go separate ways.

Zoom in as Renegade turns and talks to Hornbot.

VR Ryan exits a door, and is ambushed by Hornbot, grabbing his arm while he watches Chrome Dome stuff Shawn in a jeep. VR Ryan flips Hornbot over, but is too late to stop the jeep from driving off, so he turns to the skies and summons.

A three tiered complex shifts and the bottom chamber opens up, inside the VR Turbo Cycle comes to life and drives itself down the ramp.

The "Metalder" sign is blurred out on shot 2. It happens a lot; cuts follow-up of VR Ryan following behind the jeep.

Amid smoke, VR Ryan turns his VR Turbo Cycle to the side and begins to stop.

Cuts final shot before we can see Shawn isn't the same kid as US footage.

VR Ryan turns, when Metalbot punches him, then gut punches, before uppercutting, sending VR Ryan flying back up onto the area where Chrome Dome is holding Shawn. Metalbot hops up and in dramatic slow motion, begins to punch VR Ryan once, then his second punch causes him to flip over.

Splits final shot to fit in a US reaction shot of the kid.

Continued, VR Ryan gets back up, only to get punched by Metalbot twice more, the last hit knocking him down once again. Metalbot punches him yet again and he flails about.

Zoom in on VR Ryan lying on his stomach, struggling and failing to get up.

VR Ryan's internal computer parts light up and charge to life, as his inner coils surge to life.

Continued, Metalbot punches his right fist forth, then fires off the spikes on it one by one, VR Ryan swatting them all down. VR Ryan speaks, then the spikes burst sparkily on the ground around him as he dives out of the way. Metalbot punches, VR Ryan dodges and punches back.

Shot 1 is split from before; shot 7 is recycled but first time in context.

Metalbot staggers back, punches, it's dodged, then he gets kicked by VR Ryan, causing him to stagger over, turn and fire yellow electricity from his head spikes. As the dirt bursts around him, VR Ryan leaps off the side of the cliff. Metalbot rushes over to the cliff, VR Ryan then leaps up and charges up his Lightning Hand, only for Metalbot to open his chestplate and extend his chest hook forth, zapping VR Ryan in midair. Undeterred, VR Ryan lands before Metalbot and chops him with his charged hand, causing him to crackle. VR Ryan kicks Metalbot, sending him flying across the quarry and exploding massively. VR Ryan watches for a moment, then turns and rushes over to the cliff, rescuing Shawn.
