Ryan's VR transformation sequence, version 2.

VR Ryan backflips onto a balcony, an immediately engages with Athletetron, elbowing him, but getting grabbed and knocked aside. Athletetron then throws a large ball at VR Ryan, which bounces off of him, before he rolls forth, and slashes at Athletetron, knocking him off the balcony. VR Ryan then leaps down after him.

Cuts prior shot of VR Ryan leaping over Doommaster; transitions out; cuts a bunch more footage of VR Ryan fighting Athletetron that follows in source.

Athletetron grabs VR Ryan from behind, he struggles, breaks free, turns around, then gets knocked down. VR Ryan falls, rolls, recovers and spots Athletetron racing past him, so he fires his Laser Pistol at him, missing. Athletetron shows up behind him, sneaking by, so VR Ryan fires again, bursting the wall. Athletetron sneaks by suddenly from a different direction, so VR Ryan fires on him again and again misses. Suddenly, Athletetron punches VR Ryan in the face. Now, they're in a different dimension, consisting of three platforms. VR Ryan rushes out to the far left, Athletetron appears and pole vaults past him as he rushes toward him. VR Ryan turns around, and rushes at Athletetron again, slashing at his pole as he vaults past him again.

Athletetron swings a ball on a wire (the Hammer Throw) around and around until the ball hits VR Ryan, then does it one more time.

Transitions in; cuts follow-ups of VR Ryan getting repeatedly hit with the ball.

VR Ryan falls, but recovers, then leaps forth and kicks the ball back at Athletetron, who catches it and teleports away as a result. VR Ryan checks out the area for any sign of the mutant, even summoning his VR Vision, scanning and discovering Athletetron invisibly hiding with his ball. VR Ryan then takes aim with his Laser Pistol, and targets Athletetron.

In misty meadows, VR Ryan pulls out his Laser Pistol and fires upon the giant Athletetron with a large ring, bursting him back down to normal size.

VR Ryan readies his VR Laser Saber, charging the blade up and twirling it about as it trails against a sparkly backdrop.

Athletetron readies his own saber, as he faces VR Ryan with his glowing one. They pace about for a moment, before the mutant goes to strike, so VR Ryan sparkily slashes him across the chest, then hits him again, causing Athletetron to turn around, where he gets sparkily slashed again. They reengage in combat, with VR Ryan snagging Athletetron's saber's dangling pearl necklace thing, using it to disarm him of his sword, before sparkily slashing him again. VR Ryan then thrusts forth, stabbing Athletetron sparkily through his trophy head, then pulling out, leaving him dazed.
