SUMMARY:
[Recap of "Survival Of The Silver," "Red With Envy," "The Silver Secret" & "A Date With Danger"]
The Megaship hovers in orbit above the planet Sentar B (Centaur B, Sentai Bee, however you wanna spell it), in search of mysterious energy sources detected which they believe may be coming from Zordon. Zhane & Andros are on the surface, wearing protective masks and coats, braving the sand storms which constantly rage about the planet surface. The clouds of dust also prevent Alpha from doing any detailed searches, so while Red & Silver look for one of the energy sources, the others prepare to gear up and head down to scout the second one themselves. They do so, and while trying to see through the low visibility caused by the constant wind gusts, Cassie & TJ spot what looks like coral on a rock, and find it odd since there are no oceans on this planet. Suddenly, two black-armored rebel soldiers approach them and arrest Pink & Blue. They are lead over to Carlos & Ashley, who have also been captured by more troops, lead by a mysterious man named Yatru. He orders the captives to be hauled off to whatever passes for a prison on this sandy world.
[opening credits]
Andros and Zhane discover their energy source to be a false reading, but when they try contacting their friends to give the news, they get no response. Their friends can't respond, as they are now being shoved into a cavern prison by the soldiers. The Earth teens scope out the surroundings through the bars and witness what seems to be an underground civilization. They don't notice the usual evil suspects anywhere, but the hidden society does seem to be the energy source they've been noticing. Cassie soon locates an infirmary nearby, where bodies of the dwellers are being held, as an infection on their bodies begins causing the civilians to Morph into part coral creatures! Elsewhere, Yatru is secretly talking to none other than Dark Specter via a hologram transmission. He's ordered to destroy the four Rangers as Astronema seeks out the other two. On the Dark Fortress, Dark Specter orders the princess of darkness to destroy Red & Silver Rangers, but she stirs uncomfortably upon hearing Silver Ranger being mentioned. Love lasts short, when she has Ecliptor take a few Quantrons and to go after the Ranger duo and destroy them. She then sneaks off to her room with the Ranger chess board, and pulls out the partially crumbled picture of Zhane, which she lovingly stares at. Zhane & Andros continue searching for their friends on Sentar B, but are soon intercepted by Ecliptor and a gang of Q-Trons! The Silver/ Red invincible team from the days of KO-35 are back in effect, as they both take on the metallic minions with full force, while the same time baring the battering sand storms. They'd kick up dust if it wasn't already doing so itself. They put up a great fight despite the surroundings, and when the getting's good, they run off to find their teammates leaving Ecliptor and his dastardly drones behind them. Down in the caverns, the Megaship issued jumpsuit wearing Ranger teens are held in shackles & chains as they face the inhabitants of the underground colony. Yatru accuses them of being the spies who are turning their people into coral, and hands one of their AMScanners to Kinwon, the elderly leader of the society. The Earthlings try pleading their case, and even reveal they're Power Rangers, but Yatru grabs Ashley and seemingly pulls a vial from her pocket. He throws it at a wall, and the foam inside it smashes and causes formation of coral! Ashley contests it was not hers, but Yatru calls them guilty and orders them all destroyed. Kinwon disagrees, since this was not a trial, and they have fair laws in their civilization, it's not for Yatru to judge them. He lets Yatru take them away, but threatens if they are harmed, so too will he be.

Yatru is once again talking to Dark Specter, assuring him the Rangers will be dead soon enough. Once the conversation ends, Kinwon pops up from nearby, having heard every word! Yatru then calls his Coralizer monster to sneak up and overtake Kinwon, the old man will not be let to tell anyone what he knows! On the Megaship, Alpha still has trouble with the dense atmosphere and can't scan for the others, as Andros & Zhane contact for help. The Rangers in question are now making a jailbreak, having loosened a bar and make their getaway just as a guard approaches. They run off down the cavern hallway, but reach a dead end. There, they find Kinwon, succumbing to the coral virus! They try helping him, but Yatru and troops catch them and use that as evidence they did it to him. The Rangers are once again held in front of the people, and tried for their crimes as spies and found unanimously guilty! Before they can be taken away to be destroyed, Andros & Zhane, Astro blasters at the ready, stop the proceedings. When they remove their protective masks, Tykwa recognizes them! It seems all the people here are refugees from KO-35, hiding out from Dark Specter still after all these years. This helps in keeping Yatru from taking away our heroes, but when everyone stands against the angry tyrant, he calls for the Coralizer monster to run rampant through the crowd! It sprays foam which gives several soldiers the coral virus. Andros & Zhane rush over to begin fighting with the toxic creature, but are no match, despite impressive moves. The other Rangers are unchained and head over to help, in one of the longest unmorphed battles in a quite a while! Yatru makes a break for it, but Zhane follows him down through the hallway. As the regular Rangers' attacks prove to do no harm on Coralizer, Tykwa tosses them their Astro Morphers, and they rocket into action. Suddenly they're outside in the sand stormed surface, jump kicking off the steep cliffs onto the coral monster! He gets knocked down, but that only makes him madder.

Yatru is still being chased by Zhane through the passageways, while on the surface, the Power Rangers gang up on Coralizer. After getting knocked off a cliff, he has it with fair fighting and somehow causes the Satellasers to blast down and make him grow. The Rangers then call on the Astro Megazord, as below them, Zhane Rockets while running after Yatru. Silver Ranger finally catches up with the bad guy, and Yatru puts up a pretty good fight for someone who seems to be a normal maniac. Back above, the Astro Megazord starts to scuffle with Coralizer. Some saber action goes on, and soon Coral-face uses it's electrified tentacles on the Astro Mega. Red Ranger calls for the Delta Megaship to swoop down and sweep off the coral with a few blasts. Underground, Silver Ranger slashes Yatru while fighting with his Super Silverizer. This causes the psycho to reveal his true identity and form, that of Darkonda! The surprise sets Zhane off balance enough for Darky to get the upper hand. Elsewhere, the AstroDelta Megazord causes a coral explosion when it takes out Coralizer with Flying Power Punch. Once this occurs, all the KO-35ians effected by the coral disease return to normal, awaking refreshed & relieved, including Kinwon. Nearby, Darkonda continues battling it out with Silver Ranger, and knocks his Silverizer away from him. Zhane is weaponless against the Extenda-Sword might of Darkonda, when Kinwon tosses Silver Ranger his Silverizer! Using this, he takes a damaging swipe at Darkonda, whom warns he'll be back before exploding and losing a life! Zhane thanks Kinwon for the save and they hug. Later, all the jumpsuited Ranger teens meet with the KO-35ians, who are very happy to have them on their side. Kinwon is also grateful, but they all must evacuate and move to another planet now the Dark Specter knows where they are. The Ranger offer to help move boxes & other things, despite once being accused as spies by them, our heroes find friends in the refugees from the intergalactic war.

On the Dark Fortress, Dark Specter breaks the bad news of the destruction of Coralizer and Darkonda. Astronema breathes a sigh of relief to know her beloved Zhane is fine, Ecliptor knows Darkonda isn't gone for long. Dark Specter orders Astronema once again to finally finish the Rangers once and for all, so that he can finish draining Zordon's powers. She puts up an evil front, setting a course to Earth, and playing the role of Princess of evil, hiding her budding feelings of goodness. On Sentar B, The Ranger say good-bye to the KO-35ians, and Zhane, who plans on staying with them to help them build weapons to defend themselves against Dark Specter's forces. All are sad to see him go, especially Andros, but he promises when they least expect it, he'll be back. The Rangers teleport up to the Astro Megaship, and man their stations on the bridge, preparing to return to Earth. Andros is silent, already missing the friend he spent years trying to keep alive, only to lose him again to a more productive cause. Andros' pause lasts not long, and he returns to his leader demeanor, ready to defend the galaxy, as one of the Power Rangers In Space! The Megaship hits hyper-rush, and takes off.
