CAPSULE SUMMARY:

Lt. Stone awaits his two knuckleheaded recruits at the Outdoor Cafe. Bulk & Skull are busy driving in their Patrol Bike, and fearing a "special assignment" from Stone if they show up late, they take a makeshift detour around a construction area. Comedically, they drive out of control through a barn, some hay, a muddy clothesline, and a chickencoop. They finally make it to the Cafe, but end up crashing into Lt. Stone's table, making a feathery mess everywhere. Bulk & Skull get stuck handing out textbooks in Angel Grove High School.

In the Study Hall, Adam & Rocky poke fun at Tommy when he enters the room by singing a rendition of the Wedding March. Tanya is last to hear the news, that Mr. Toggle wants Kat & Tommy to a report on family care & relationships, thus they have to pretend their married for a weekend! Tanya, Adam, & Rocky get a good set of giggles at Tommy's expense. Especially when Kat drops by with a baby carriage, and a small Asian infant! He's a friend of the family that Kat baby-sits for all the time, named Joey, and he'll be helping make Tommy & Kat's marriage a "more realistic insight" (thus, an excuse to keep the two teens from going at it!). Joey cries like a banshee, and is a crapping machine, the smell & sound send everyone in the hall a'running. Kat forces "daddy Tommy" to change the kid's diaper.

On the Machine Empire's Skybase, King Mondo is inspired by the child's disturbing crying. He plans to amplify it, turning the sound waves into a destructive force. Klank suggests Boohoo the Clown to be sent, since he's a monster who just happens to be wonderful with children. When Tommy puts Joey to bed, Boohoo teleports in and zaps the tike with a sound amplifier ray. The next morning, Tommy & Kat take the sleeping Joey to the Study Hall, to look something up on the Internet. Rocky & Billy are there, poking fun at Tommy's parenting woes. Rocky wakes Joey up, and his screams cause the entire building to shake! All it takes is a bottle to shut him up. Kat & Rocky take the baby to a place where there's less to destroy, while Billy & Tommy teleport to the Power Chamber to see what they can do (Billy's teleportational color a neutral white). Once there, Billy uses a sample of Joey's sonic frequency that was caught by their satellite communications transceiver. It reveals that the frequency & amplitude of Joey's cry has been alerted for sure.

On the Skybase, Prince Sprocket squabbles with Orbus over who's brilliant plan this was. King Mondo halts them, since it was all his idea anyway. Speaking of ideas, time to send Boohoo back down to increase the toddler's vocal powers. He encounters four of the Ranger teens with Joey at a secluded area in Angel Grove. Scanners in the Power Chamber discover Boohoo's frequency matches that of Joey's, so Billy informs Tommy he'll have to destroy the monster in order to cure the kid. Tommy teleports to his pals, and they five Morph into Zeo, while Alpha 5 comes out to take care of the kid. The Rangers battle Cogs, and Boohoo's sonic blasts. Some Cogs overpower and fry Alpha's circuits, taking Joey away before our heroes can react. Klank & Orbus go to the electric plant, as per ordered by King Mondo, to help Boohoo make Joey's cries destroy Angel Grove's main source of power.

In the Power Chamber, Billy reactivates Alpha. Joey's brief cries are detected, and the Zeo Rangers head out to the power plant as expected. Tommy heads up the stairs to try and nab Joey before he cries again, while the others take on some more Cogs below. He fights his way through some Cogs as well, plus a close blast by Boohoo which sends him hanging over the edge. Red Zeo Ranger gets to Joey, only to find his bottle is empty, causing the kid to cry for a moment. Boohoo then blasts up the structure of the building, causing Joey's stroller to roll down the stairs and suddenly drop off the side. Tommy leaps down and catches it before it hits the bottom, only to find that Billy teleported the tike safely to the Power Chamber. Quadrafighters fire upon the Zeo Rangers, who deflect the mighty flying machines with a simple set of Zeo Laser Pistol blasts! Boohoo starts uses his sonic weaponry on our heroes again, until Tommy pulls out his Zeo Power Sword from his helmet-star. It flame slashes into the monster, but he dodges, and soon gets a size boost from Orbus. The Zeo Megazord is formed, and it battles Boohoo above the city. He flings explosive baby bottles at the Megazord, and fires a few sonic-lasers at the Rangers. But, the Zeo Megazord Saber reflects them back at him, before charging up and slicing the robotic Ronald McDonald into pieces.

Next day at the school, Joey's returned to normal. Tommy & Kat plan to sleep together (no lie!). Mr. Toggle comments on their enjoyable report, they both get A's for their use of the baby. Tommy says that married life has it's ups & downs, and Kat is looking forward to having her own kids one day. Mr. Toggle's glad to hear that, as he & his wife are looking for someone to baby-sit their twins for them on Saturday. She reluctantly agrees, but the teacher wanted both of them, so Tommy is dragged into the deal, to the giggling ridicule delight of his teammates.
