[Recap of "The Delta Discovery"]
Professor Phenomenus (along with Bulk & Skull, of course) are preparing to test a yellow laser device, which can give any object fired upon an attitude! His subject is funny looking race car fused with some kind of Ken doll. The 'evil' mode is selected and of course, soon the weird racing thing comes to life, mad as heck and begins to rev up after the troublesome threesome! It chases them into the Phenom van and begins attacking them inside. Ecliptor shows up, takes the device, and mentions he's been looking for something like that!
[opening credits]
Soon in the twisted warp dimension where the Dark Fortress is currently hiding out, Ecliptor has given the device, now called an Evilyzer, to his princess of evil, Astronema. First, it'll be tested by attempting to turn the Rangers bad. Astronema has bigger things planned for later, involving evening up the score with the now double Megazorded Rangers! Ecliptor dispatches a Quantron out to Evilyzer the Power Rangers. Meanwhile on some unnamed planet, Red & Yellow Rangers work against dense gravity while AMScanning for Dark Specter. All they find is rocks and green water, the place deserted. Time to head home, they call their Galaxy Gliders and hang ten out of there. Once free of the heavy gravity, Andros shows off and does jump flips off his board mid-space. Ashley tries doing tricks on her Glider as well, and looping upside-down (relatively speaking, this is still outer space). While the two Rangers play around, a Velocifighter sneaks up behind them and fires the Evilyzer at Yellow Ranger! It misses and instead hits her Glider, turning it evil! She struggles with it, but her Yellow Galaxy Glider is bent on destruction already, knocking her off into the void of space. Luckily, Red Ranger snatches her up, as the evil space board floats off by itself into the depths of the universe.
On the Dark Fortress, Elgar makes fun of Ecliptor's failure, until said green grid guy smacks his big head around! Astronema calls his failing to turn the Yellow Ranger evil a success, and has Ecliptor prepare an even bigger version of the Evilyzer, while having Elgar provide a decoy to attract the Rangers into battle. Meanwhile, in the Astro/Delta Megaship Hanger, Andros, Ashley & Carlos discover the Red Glider checks out okay, but the Yellow one may have had it's central ion disseminator reverse by the ray. Meaning in layman's terms, it's programming reversed from positive to negative. Down on Earth, a decoy monster is created and sent to attack and destroy some buildings. It's sort of a Centipede like monster (unnamed, but named "Destructipede", according to the ADR coordinator). This disturbance interrupts TJ & DECA's galaxy scanning for Zordon, the Rangers join up together, Morph and head to Angel Grove. Astronema's extra sized Evilyzer is finished, as she and her two evil flunkies wait for the right time to fire the ray of badness, having Destructipede get the Rangers' attention by blasting once more. The Rangers spot the monster, teleport themselves via streaks of light from the streets onto the roof of a building, and go after Destructipede. He's disappeared, but as they wonder where he went, they begin to hear loud footsteps approaching. Suddenly, a raging Rhino monster (unnamed, but named "Powerdriller", according to the ADR coordinator) barrels toward them from out of nowhere! Five Astro Blasters fire together, putting him down but upon falling to the ground, he too disappears! Our heroes think this was an easy victory, and call it a day, but as they turn around they're greeted by two more monsters, one a multicolored toad (unnamed, but named "Fearog", according to the ADR coordinator) and another which looks just like a mini-Clawhammer. Two baddies at once? After Crocovile, that's no problem. Speaking of problems, next thing they know, Powerdriller is back, along with our old pal Sting King! One last butterfly-like, multicolored moth monster joins the fray (unnamed, but named "Behemoth", according to the ADR coordinator), surrounding our heroes on all sides. Satellasers are fired from the orbiting Dark Fortress, causing Destructipede to grow, and begin bashing buildings. Dealing with one menace at a time, The Rangers each take on one of the surrounding gang o'monsters with their Megaweapons, but the attacks don't even faze them! Red Ranger contacts DECA, they're going to need major help down there.
Left with no choice, Andros calls for the Delta Megaship, via his Battlizer. It unlocks from the hangar, and rockets down to on Earth, transforming into Megazord mode and landing in the city. It stands before Destructipede, ready to do battle. The wait is over, Astronema finally has Ecliptor fire the Evilyzer ray toward the Delta Megazord! The Rangers continue fighting off the horde of evil, Red Ranger calling for Gyro Blasters into his Battlizer. The Delta Mega doesn't respond, finally transforming back into Megaship mode and taking off into the skies! Every one of the monsters suddenly disappear, starting with Destructipede. The Delta Megaship heads for the center of the city, firing at buildings left and right! It lands once more as Megazord mode and begins Gyro blasting all over the place, even striking just behind Andros! The Astro Megazord is quickly formed in hopes of quelling the mutiny. The evil Megazord pounces away on the Astro Mega, Red Ranger finding the Battlizer is useless in controlling it. Delta tricks them by stopping suddenly, as if responding to his command again. But the facade ends suddenly, as it turns it's Gyro blasters on unshielded Astro Megazord, blasting away! Red Ranger has Alpha try to come up with a frequency to override the Evilyzer, but he gives only a rough estimate. Andros types it in the keyboard on the Megazord dashboard, it flips over, revealing a slot where he inserts the clip from the Battlizer. This works to power up the override laser, spouting out from the Astro Megazord chest as a laser, trying to revert Delta Megazord to the side of good. The Evilyzer is beaming down once more, both beams are locked on the Evil Megazord, fighting for control. Soon, the polar opposite lasers cause the Astro Megazord and the Evilyzer to overheat in a Megazord tug-of-war. Astronema's prized weapon explodes, but it seems that the Astro Megazord is out of power as well! She thinks they may have beat the Rangers, as The Delta Megazord returns to ship mode and launches back into space. The Astro Megazord goes into ship mode as well, following it to see if their struggle was successful. Only one way to be sure, linkup is initiated, and the Astro Megazord transforms again, and pieces of the Delta Megazord start locking onto it. The connection is a little rocky at first, but holding 'er steady gets the job done, and the AstroDelta Megazord is created! The double decker Megazord swoops back down to earth to fight the now full grown Gang O'monsters. The Gyro Blasters strike them all, but the group of unnamed baddies disappear once more. Black & Pink Rangers run an energy scan, discovering the Centipede monster in front of them. This provides a distraction as the other monsters begin attacking The AstroDelta from all sides. They figure it's Destructipede who's the real target here, pressing a 01 Battlizer Flying Power Punch, which launches the AstroDelta Megazord's fists into the air. The powerful fists swing around and blast through the baddie, making him go kaboom! Once the main monster is killed, the rest combust simultaneously in an electric explosion. Red Ranger tells us if you're on the side of evil, say good-bye, and the new Megazord combination stands victorious in the streets.
Inside the Dark Fortress, the burnt out Evilyzer is taken away. Elgar yaps his big mouth off about things he'd do if in charge and almost gets it blown off by Astronema's Wrath Staff. She then sends Ecliptor out into the universe to bring back a creature of equal destructive power as the AstroDelta Megazord, named Mamamite. Andros and Ashley head out via the Red Jump Tube onto the Red Galaxy Glider, in search for Ash's Evil Yellow Glider. They spot it, still floating off in space evilly. She jumps onto it and wrestles it back to the side of good with the help of a mini-reversal laser in her Astro Blaster. Yellow & Red Rangers Glide back to the Megaship, thinking the effects of the Evilyzer erased completely. Not exactly true, as back on Earth, Bulk, Skull & The Prof continue to run away from the RC monster. The basically harmless object chases them through a field, as the one note joke that is Bulk, Skull & Phenomenus fails to have an ending today!
[scenes from "Grandma Matchmaker", end credits]

Bulk, Skull & The Prof are saved by faulty driving!; Andros goes froggy on us, by extending his tongue and eating a fly; Elgar is hungry for something "Yo Quiero Power Rangers?"; Bulk shines a red light on Prof's chrome-dome!
