In a flash of energy, Lavasect is revealed to have a dried applehead look beneath the shadows, eyes widening.

Lavasect extends a tendril with a sword attached, so Masked Rider locks blades with it, allowing Lavasect to extend another tendril that wraps around his other arm. Captive for a moment, Masked Rider shoves off the saber hold, then uses his saber to slice the imprisoning tendril in half. Suddenly, all of Lavasect's eyes zap energy bolts down at him, spark bursting around and upon him. He recovers amid the mist and smoke, crouching, but without his saber. Masked Rider rises up before Lavasect, then gestures and transforms into Super Gold.

Lavasect fires electricity from both main eyes forth, binding Super Gold, before lifting him up off his feet, dragging him through the air a few times until he gets an arm jammed in Lavasect's smoking maw. Unable to free himself from the munching jaws of Lavasect, Super Gold punches him repeatedly in the face, releasing all kinds of electricity and sparks until Lavasect spits him free. Super Gold whips out his Ecto Ray, and when Lavasect spits an energy bolt at him, he ducks, then fires back repeatedly. Super Gold rolls forth, then fires again, spark bursting Lavasect. Super Gold reverts to regular Masked Rider, then leaps up, flips over, and performs an energized Rider Kick right into Lavasect's right eye. Lavasect spews smoke and writhes about. Masked Rider whips out his Electro Saber, who uses it to block Lavasect's next projectile spitting.
