VR Kaitlin leaps in and chops into Octobot, knocking him back, but he swipes his arm forth and knocks her off her feet. Octobot then grabs her head as she lies on the ground, she struggles, then he flings her across the beach, where she rolls in the sand. Octobot opens his headpiece, and ejects a pod at VR Kaitlin, which attaches to her face. VR JB leaps in.

VR JB goes over to VR Kaitlin and helps pry the pod off her face, then sees an attacking Skug that he goes over and blocks, grabbing its arm. As he holds the Skug hostage, VR JB talks to VR Kaitlin, they speak for a moment or two, before reacting to our left.

Octobot fires another pod at the pair, but VR JB insures it hits the Skug in the face instead, then tosses the Skug aside, before rushing forth, dodging, blocking, and hitting another pair of Skugs.

Shot 2 is recycled; cuts before he finishes off the second Skug, then cuts follow-ups of him throwing a net over Skugs, then picking up a fishing pole and ensnaring Octobot. Also then cuts follow-ups of Air Fighters attacking and the switch to VR, which includes more Skug fighting and a Techno Bazooka sequence.

VR Kaitlin gets smacked down by Octobot, who then goes over to her and knocks her down once again. She recovers, stands ready, then pulls out her Laser Pistol, firing on Octobot, bursting him colorfully, but he presses on despite the hits and smacks VR Kaitlin aside. VR JB leaps in and knocks Octobot down, rolling to a crouch upon landing.
